The RSM UK Foundation is governed by a dedicated board of Trustees, who bring a wealth of cross-disciplinary experience and expertise to the Foundation, ensuring we stay true to our mission and values. They are responsible for setting the charity’s strategic direction, monitoring the delivery of our objectives and upholding the highest standards of governance.
Our Trustees play a crucial role in guiding the Foundation’s work, providing oversight and support to ensure we make a meaningful impact in our community.
Nick Sladden
Chair of Trustees
As Chair of Trustees for the Foundation, Nick leads the board in ensuring that the charity delivers on its vision and mission to create a positive impact in the community. Using his three decades of experience as a professional adviser to charities, he ensures the board adopts an inclusive approach, fostering collaboration while providing support and challenge where necessary.
In working closely with fellow Trustees, Nick and the team regularly evaluate the effectiveness of our programmes and identify opportunities for the Foundation’s growth and development.
Aoidín Gormley
Trustee
Aoidín is an active member of the diversity and inclusion networks within RSM UK and is a charity trustee for Young Enterprise, a UK charity supporting young people improve business and financial acumen.
Aoidín’s brings a fresh and dynamic approach to the Foundation’s work, continually seeking innovative ways to enhance our impact.
Catherine Riches
Trustee
With over 25 years of experience in delivering global business growth, Catherine brings a wealth of marketing, brand and communications expertise to her role as a Trustee.
Catherine has worked with some of the best-loved B2C brands, including The Coca-Cola Company, Hovis and Hallmark Cards. She has a proven track record of engaging culturally and internationally diverse functions to develop impactful collaborative partnerships. In 2018 she brought her passion for developing inspired winning teams and entrepreneurial skills to RSM. In 2024 Catherine became a Partner.
As a Trustee, Catherine is responsible for steering the Foundation’s strategic communication efforts, ensuring that our mission and impact are effectively conveyed to stakeholders and the public.
John Taylor
Trustee
John has been a Trustee since 2020 and is passionate about making a wider contribution to society through the various charitable causes supported by the Foundation. As part of RSM UK’s leadership team, he aims to link the activities of the Foundation with those of the firm. John positively encourages our people to make a difference and has first-hand experience, having raised substantial amounts of money from a number of demanding physical challenges.
As a Trustee, John is keen to ensure that we continue to enhance the operational effectiveness and governance of the Foundation, maximising its impact for all of its stakeholders.
Kelly Adams
Trustee
Since becoming a Trustee in 2019, Kelly has contributed to various impactful projects and milestones with the Foundation. Most recently, Kelly was involved in establishing the RSM Together initiative, which provides RSM UK employees the opportunity to give back to their local communities.
Using her skills and experience as a charity auditor and a volunteer, Kelly takes pride in playing an integral part in setting the strategy, providing scrutiny, and ultimately ensuring the Foundation has an overall focus on strengthening the impact we have on our charity partnerships and communities.
Lisa Mills
Trustee
Lisa’s enthusiasm for charity and community, alongside her professional expertise in finance, allows her to make a significant contribution as a Trustee of the Foundation.
As a major advocate for community involvement, Lisa encourages participation in charity events, fundraising, and volunteering. She’s able to apply her hands-on experience to further the work of the Foundation.
